1) Uncle Steve, Who Are You And Why Should I Care?
Fair Question, Reader! I, Uncle Steve, am a middle age American just trying to survive the Obamanation of These United States. "Uncle Steve" just sounds a lot friendlier than "Stephen The Barbarian". And a lot less likely to get me punched in the mouth.
In addition to being part of the Right Wing Conspiracy, I'm a Fanboy. A Geek. If I'm not trying to convert The Lost Ones (liberals) to the True Path of Conservatism, I'm educating the public on my correct views concerning Star Trek, Star Wars, Comic Book Superheroes, James Bond and other important aspects of living.
I also try to follow, to the best of my ability, this Jewish Carpenter who loved me so much He actually died for me some two thousand years before I was even born. If that's not epic, I don't know what is.
Now, as to why you should care, it just makes sense to have an idea of WHY someone is saying WHAT he is saying. And now you know. I just want to spread My Wisdom across the vastness that is the net. I may reach four (4) people!
2) May we comment to your posts?
You may...and you may email My Epicness at geekyconservative@gmail.com. And you can just leave a comment after my columns. I allow dissenting views. Why anyone would dissent with me is a mystery, but it's allowed...as long as it's civil. Keep in mind, if you aren't registered with Blogger, or another media site they look on with favor, you'll have to post as 'Anonomous'. If you do that, please identify yourself in your reply so everyone knows who you are. Not a requirement, your call. I'd suggest just registering with Blogger. It's free and quick.
3) How often is The Geeky Conservative updated?
There's no set schedule, but I'm thinking at least a couple times a week. I think a lot,. and the world needs My Ramblings. Or maybe it just needs more cheeseburgers. I get those two confused a lot.
4) Uncle Steve, religion and politics are serious business, comics and the like are not. How can you do both serious and frivolous commentary?
This FAQ page is an example, heretic, of humor used to address serious, if not boring, matter. For a more serious tone, take a peek at my essay defending Fox News. No joking around there.
My intent is to discuss whatever is on my mind in this public forum, and hopefully get civil feedback. maybe we all can learn from each other. Or maybe I'll just blather. Maybe both.
